Plastic styrene base is made to snap apart for easier cleaning. Perch is attached around the total circumference of base for easy feeding - 8 feeding stations. Bases will not leak even in direct sunlight.
To make your own Hummingbird nectar solution, add 1 part sugar to 4 parts water. Boil solution for a few minutes. Cool before placing in feeder and store the remainder in the refrigerator. Nectar ferments rapidly, so be sure to replace the solution at least once per week, especially if the feeder is in direct sunlight.
